Come join our Adult Jazz Fit classes and enjoy dancing to this fun, energetic dance genre and you won’t even notice you’re getting fit at the same time.
Jazz dance has developed significantly over dance years and during these classes we will explore both modern and classic styles, from West End musicals to modern pop.
At Kelly’s Dance Academy our aim is to provide enjoyable classes in a no pressure environment, inspiring you through dance and helping you build skills each step of the way.
Whether you are reliving your younger childhood dreams of dancing on Broadway or wanting to try dance for the first time, you will be able to join in the class at your own pace and we are sure you will love this fun dance genre. Do not worry if you have 2 left feet, there is no judgement and we all took our first dance class at some stage!
The classes cover combination steps, some barre work, Jazz steps across the floor, travelling moves, leaps, turns and of course Jazz hands! This is an uplifting dance style that allows you to move freely, dance to different styles of music and gain flexibility and coordination along the way.
Classes can be purchased on a 10 class pass or paid casually as you attend. Your first class is free!
No uniform required, you are welcome to wear clothes that you feel comfortable in although please ensure you wear trainers or bare feet to prevent slipping on the floor.
